Anniversary diving at Jocassee!!

It's our 5th wedding anniversary, so we decided to go diving at Lake Jocassee. Then spend some time in Asheville NC., and come back as far as we could on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Well, the diving went great. We dove with Off the Wall Charters in salem SC., a great group of people. On saturday we went to a location known as the wall. We anchored at the wall in 65' of water, near the junk, a 65' wooden sailing junk. The plan was for Corrine and I to head to the junk, then she would hang there while I continued on down the wall to about 200'. Another diver, aned at that point, and lso named Joe, showed me the deep line, and joined me down to 150'. He turned at that point and I continued on to 200'. There was a nice propane grill at 175'. I spent 10 minutes at 200', then returned to the junk at 65' and joined Corrine for the rest of the dive. Of course there were a few deco stops along the way. Our 2nd dive we checked the things on the ledge. We camped at Devils Fork state park Friday and Saturday night, a very nice park, we reserved the last available spot for this weekend!! On sunday we did two dives on the graveyard, 137', and 152'. This is the graveyard that was in the last scene of the movie deliverance. It was a nice dive, vis around 15'. The skipper took the boat out on sunday, even though it was only Corrine and I!! The rest of our vavation we played tourist in Brevard, asheville, and travelled back on the blue ridge parkway. We spent our last night in a motel in Linville. We hiked to Linville falls, saw Grandfather mountain, and went to Mast general store, a neat old time general store. A great vacationand anniversary!!
